In collaboration with Springer Nature & IOP, 2nd International Conference on ‘Futuristic Trends in Materials and Manufacturing (ICFTMM-2019)’ was organized by Department of Mechanical & Automation at Delhi Technical Campus, Greater Noida, Affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Inpraprashtha University, Delhi, on November 8, 2019. The conference seeks to provide a forum for a broad blend of high-quality academic papers in order to promote rapid communication and exchange between researchers, scientists, and engineers in the field of material science and manufacturing. The conference publishes original research articles, review articles and feature articles.
The Chief Guest for the inauguration ceremony of the conference was Dr. H P Garg, Ex-Professor & HOD, IIT Delhi, Principal Secretary M.P. Govt. The guest of honour for the ceremony were Dr. R.C. Singh, Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department, Delhi Technological University, New Delhi & Dr. Z. A. Khan, Professor Zamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Mr. Aman Sahni, Vice Chairman, Sunshine Educational and Development Society and Director General, Hon’ble Justice Bhanwar Singh. The programme started with Sarawati Vandana followed by the release of conference proceedings published by Springer Nature.
The opening ceremony began with the speech of Director General Hon’ble Justice Bhanwar Singh who discussed the role of science and technology to improvise society and progress of nation.
The Chief Guest for the Valedictory ceremony of the conference was Prof. Dr., M. Nada, Cultural & Educational Counsellor, The Embassy of The Arab Republic of Egypt, New Delhi. The guest of honour for the ceremony was Dr. Umang Soni, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department, NSUT, New Delhi. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Mrs. Kiran Sahni, Chairperson, Sunshine Educational and Development Society and Mrs. Jyoti, Principal DWPS, Noida Extension. The programme ended with distribution of participation certificate to all the presenters.
The conference proved to be a highly successful event. The conference Chairman, Dr. Pranay Tanwar & Convener Dr. Kuldeep Panwar, reported that total 41 papers were received. Conference Co-convenor Mr. Etkaf Hasan Khan, Mr. Radhakant Mishra and Organizing Secretary Dr. Mohd Atif Wahid, Ms. Renu Singh, Mr. Nitesh, Mr. Adarsh Yadav and Mr. Rakesh Dhaka appreciate the participation of all the researchers. The positive outcome of this wisdom sharing endeavour has proved to be enlightening the interest of students in the fast growing Materials and Manufacturing Field.
