3 days SDP on Vehicle Design and Development @ Delhi Technical Campus, Gr. Noida

Report

Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIE, An ISO 9001:2008; Associate Member of FMSCI and SFI, National Youth Award Winner by Ministry of Youth Affairs, Recommended by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt of India) successfully conducted 3 days Skill Development Program on Vehicle Design & Dynamics at Delhi Technical Campus from 10th Dec to 12th Dec 2018 with a fabulous feedback from all the participants. For the participants, it was the chance to learn; grow through hands on session from Industrial Experts.

Day1
Day 1 started with the a brief introduction about skills requirement and skill development scope by Mr. Ashhar Ahmed in presence of Head of Mechanical Engineering Department Dr. Kuldeep Pawar. Further topics like Design approach, Design Methodologies, Concept Sketch, Chassis Design Considerations, and Calculations; Introduction to CAD were discussed.

Day 2
Day 2 was an interactive session where students started designing various automotive components in a sequential approach leading to the complete CAD Model of the System. Also various subsystem like Steering, Suspension, and Brakes with working & calculations were discussed in order to make the students understand the actual need and application of Designing.

Day 3
Day 3 was practical day started with modelling & simulation and needed with a Complete PVC Model of the designed Chassis of the Vehicle. Also to check the knowledge, participants have gained through our program a Computer Based Test was conducted. And at the end of the session, Certificates were awarded to students in presence of Department Faculties.
