Mr. Resham Singh, senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of India inaugurated the Legal Aid Cell of the School of Legal Studies of the DME and appreciated the infrastructural arrangement of the school which already has a moot court and its own smart-room for seminar etc. Mr. Singh, a retired I.P.S. officer and former Additional Director General of Police, Haryana, who has served the country in various capacities at different locations and positions, shared with students his rise from scratch to the top police positions. His inspirational and motivational revelations of his professional career mesmerized the students of law.  As a brilliant student of Delhi University, he was able to imbibe among the listeners spirit of voracious reading after deciding the highest goals in life and career. He said there is no short cut to success in life.

Delivering a guest lecture on Contract Act, he gave formulae to the students to learn and memorize the headings and sub-headings of the subject-topic so that students could secure good marks in examinations. He also answered the questions and queries of the students as well as teachers on this topic of his lecture. He also interacted with the students of School of Journalism and Mass Communications. He answered many questions which have engulfed the society these days, from criminalization of politics to pro-activism of the judiciary, gay marriages, mercy killings, role of police and responsibilities of journalists in civil society.

Mr Singh was given a warm welcome by the DME/DTC management. Dr. Chattar Singh of School of Legal Studies apprised the guest with the on-going progress of the School.
