Fully AC Hostel at Delhi Technical Campus

The term “hostel” has evolved from the Medieval Latin word hospitale, originally meaning a place of lodging or stay. In the context of college life, a hostel is much more than just accommodation—it becomes a second home where students spend some of the most formative years of their education.

At Delhi Technical Campus (DTC), the hostel is home to students enrolled in B.Tech, MBA, and BCA programs. Situated within the expansive and modern “Knowledge Park” campus, the hostel offers comfortable boarding and lodging facilities on a non-profiteering basis.

The hostel provides full-week (7-days) accommodation to students. Rooms are available in triple sharing AC options. Every room comes with an attached washroom equipped with a geyser for hot water.

To support academic growth, the hostels are fully Wi-Fi enabled. A unique feature of DTC’s hostel life is the student-led mess committee, which democratically prepares the food menu in open meetings. This committee also monitors the quality of ingredients used, ensuring both taste and hygiene.

Beyond academics, the hostel offers excellent recreational facilities. Residents have access to a well-equipped gym, as well as areas for football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, cricket, carrom, and chess.

To ensure safety and discipline, teaching staff members reside on each hostel floor, acting as mentors and guardians. Additionally, a hostel committee—chaired by a senior faculty member—oversees overall hostel management. For any concerns, students can reach the committee via email at hostel@delhitechnicalcampus.ac.in or call the Hostel Wardens
