- Objective:
This policy aims to provide a structured and transparent placement process to maximize employment opportunities for students and build long-term relationships with recruiting organizations. - Eligibility Criteria:
- Students must have a minimum attendance of 75% in all semesters and Trainings offered by DTC Skill Development centre.
- Must have completed all academic and administrative formalities (fees, documentation, etc.).
- Minimum CGPA/percentage as defined by the company or TPC.
- No active backlogs (unless specifically allowed by the recruiting company).
- Registration for Placement:
- Students must register online/offline with the TPC within the notified deadlines.
- Only registered students will be allowed to participate in campus placement activities.
- Students must submit an undertaking confirming compliance with TPC rules.
- Types of Offers:
- Dream Offer:A job offer with a CTC (Cost to Company) above a specified threshold (e.g., ₹10 LPA).
- Non-Dream Offer:Offer below the dream offer threshold.
- Core/Non-Core:Classification based on the student’s branch and job profile.
- Placement Process:
- Students must apply to companies as per eligibility.
- Must attend all pre-placement talks (PPTs), tests, interviews, and group discussions.
- Any misconduct or non-compliance can lead to debarment.
- Offer Acceptance Policy:
- A student is eligible to receive only one job offer. On receiving an offer, they will be automatically withdrawn from the placement process unless permitted for:
- Dream job opportunityif the first offer is non-dream.
- Core sector opportunityif the first offer is from a non-core company.
- Students selected in super dream offers(e.g., ₹15 LPA or more) are exited from the placement process.
- Internship Opportunities:
- Internships will follow a similar registration and selection process.
- Students who convert internships into PPOs (Pre-Placement Offers) will be considered placed.
- Code of Conduct:
- Students must maintain discipline, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Dress code (formal attire) is mandatory during placement activities.
- Any misbehavior may lead to permanent debarment from the placement process.
- Blacklisting Conditions:
A student may be blacklisted from the placement process if they:
- Fail to attend interviews after shortlisting without valid reason.
- Provide false information or documents.
- Violate any rules set by the TPC.
- Communication & Notices:
- All official communication will be through college email or TPC notice boards.
- Students are expected to check communications regularly.
- Disputes & Exceptions:
- All decisions taken by the TPC are final and binding.
- Any exceptions to the policy must be approved by the Placement Officer/Principal.
- Objective:
