The Department of Computer Applications, Delhi Technical Campus, Greater Noida, organized an industrial visit to Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) on 11th July 2025, as part of the ATAL Faculty Development Programme.

The objective of the visit was to provide faculty members with insights into the latest developments in research, innovation, and academic practices at IGDTUW. Participants had the opportunity to explore advanced research facilities and engage with experts, enhancing their understanding of emerging technologies and academic-industry linkages.

The visit had included interactions with faculty and researchers, demonstrations of advanced labs on IIOT, Robotics Lab, AI Lab, VR Lab etc, and discussions on collaborative research opportunities, aligning with the objective of promoting outcome-based teaching and research-oriented learning.

This initiative aligned with the goals of the FDP, promoting continuous learning and professional growth among faculty members through practical exposure and knowledge exchange.

2. GeeksforGeeks Organized by Department of Computer Applications

Date: 15th April 2025

The Department of Computer Applications, Delhi Technical Campus, Greater Noida, organized an Industrial Visit to GeeksforGeeks, Noida, on 15th April 2025 for BCA II Year students to provide practical exposure to the IT industry.

During the visit, students gained valuable insights into real-world coding practices, content engineering workflows, and the technological ecosystem at GeeksforGeeks, a leading platform for programming and placement preparation. The team at GeeksforGeeks shared their journey, demonstrated live coding problem-solving, and discussed pathways for internships and career opportunities in the software industry.

This visit aimed to bridge classroom learning with industry practices, encouraging students to align their programming skills with industry demands and strengthen their preparation for future opportunities.

The Department remains committed to providing such opportunities to enhance industry-academia integration, empowering students to become industry-ready professionals.
