Grievance
At DTC, we prioritize creating a conducive and supportive environment for our students, staff, and faculty. We understand that grievances, whether academic or administrative, can arise, and we are committed to addressing them promptly and effectively. Our grievance redressal system is designed to ensure that all concerns are handled fairly, with transparency and integrity, while maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere on campus.
Purpose and Importance: The primary objective of the grievance redressal mechanism at DTC is to provide an accessible platform where students, staff, and faculty members can voice their concerns without fear of retaliation. We believe that every individual has the right to be heard, and addressing grievances promptly contributes to the overall well-being of the academic and professional community. Whether the issue relates to academic matters, infrastructure, hostel facilities, or interpersonal conflicts, our grievance redressal process ensures that no concern goes unnoticed.
Grievance Redressal Process: The grievance redressal mechanism at DTC follows a structured process designed to address issues in an organized and timely manner:
Submission of Grievance:
Any individual with a grievance can submit their concerns either in writing or through our dedicated online grievance portal. The grievance should clearly mention the nature of the issue and any relevant details that will help in understanding and resolving it. Students and staff are encouraged to be specific and respectful in their submissions to ensure that the grievance is accurately addressed.Acknowledgment and Preliminary Review:
Once a grievance is received, it is formally acknowledged by the Grievance Redressal Cell. The issue is then reviewed by a designated grievance officer or committee member to assess its validity and severity. This stage is crucial to ensure that genuine concerns are prioritized and processed accordingly.Investigation and Resolution:
After the preliminary review, the grievance is investigated in detail. The concerned parties may be called for discussion, and relevant evidence or documentation may be collected to better understand the situation. Our approach is always impartial, and both sides are given a chance to present their case. Based on the findings, appropriate steps are taken to resolve the grievance.Communication of Resolution:
Once a resolution is reached, the outcome is communicated to the individual who raised the grievance. In case the grievance is upheld, necessary actions or corrective measures are implemented to address the issue. The resolution is also shared with the concerned department or individuals to ensure that similar issues do not arise in the future.Follow-up:
To ensure that the grievance has been satisfactorily resolved and no further issues persist, follow-up meetings or checks may be conducted. This step is essential to confirm that the resolution has been effective and that the individual is content with the outcome.
Confidentiality and Transparency: We ensure that the grievance redressal process maintains confidentiality at all stages. The identities of the complainants and the details of their grievances are protected to prevent any form of retaliation or bias. Our grievance redressal mechanism is designed to foster an open and transparent dialogue between all parties, with the primary goal of resolving issues in a fair and just manner.
