Management Conclave Report – 2016

Management conclave on “Business Management from Global Perspective”
Date: 20th February 2016
Venue: Delhi Metropolitan Education

MBA and BBA department, Delhi Technical Campus affiliated to GGSIPU, organized a management conclave by DME and DTC College
All the students of MBA and BBA, 1st, 2nd and 3rd year were present to attend the moving speeches of reputed and honorable speakers.
The seminar began with lightening of lamp and felicitation of guests with bouquets.

The Director General of DTC College, Justice Mr. Bhanwar Singh, Former Judge (Allahabad High Court), started his enthusiastic speech with describing all the phases of market and the global scenarios. He discussed the various Entrepreneurial problems which a beginner faces. He quoted important examples from our India as well as world’s top leaders in business sector because of their entrepreneurial competencies.
Instances from lives of Laxmi Mittal, John Martin , Ratan tata and Ambani were given to influence the young minds to think out of the box and take calculated risks in life to achieve success and make their names in the pages of history.

Further the lecture was moved to Mr.Rama Raman, CEO of Noida Authority. A Jovial, frank ordinary person who is yet an extra ordinary man in terms of his work. He in his short speech, using fewer words was able to achieve a place in our hearts so easily. He “Believes in work”, that is his motto of life.
He explained us the importance of time management in reference to his work. He encouraged students to use the skills they have and to apply knowledge to real life situations.
Through his own experiences he shared three main lessons he learnt in his work journey:
1. You should be open to listen to others. Patience and Resistance to adversity should be present.
2. Always lead in the tough situations.
3. Efforts result in Rewards.
He gave us information about the problems he has already resolved.
Ultimately growth and development is taking place. Online transaction systems are helping in resolving issues and giving timely solutions and helping in eradication of Corruption.
He warned us that we should always be alert about the challenges and have transparency in work.
Job is not only the focus and ultimate goal of life, but Education is.
Genius starts their own work and mediocre work for them!
With this, his marvelous speech came to an end.

The third speaker was Chairperson of DME,
He gave an overview about the bright sides of Entrepreneurship. Due to start ups, various employment opportunities are created and helps in removal of unemployment, this helps in betterment of economy.
Experts are there to teach us, to guide as and to mentor us towards the right path.
There should be a vision and mission to stand out successfully in the global competitive market.

With this the first session came to an end followed by small break, after 10 minutes the session was restarted.

Second Session

Mr.MURALI
The second session took a flight with fantastic presentation made by Mr.Murali,

A funny man with a vision of inspiring the whole generation.
He expressed his views by giving real life examples from his old days when life was simple. When pen friend was a luxury which gave a chance for technology to develop, as it is said, necessity is the mother of all inventions.
And people were astonished when gifted with the boon of technology in the form of Emails, Fb , Whatsapp and other technologies.

“When your back is to the wall and you are facing fear head on, the only way is forward and through it.”

With this quote he shared his views on the following 5 principles we all should have:-
A- Alertness
I- Imagination
I- Innovation
D- Devotion
C- Commitment
These 5 components if inculcated in life will help us to be Creative and Grow.
By following these principles we can bring Evolution.

“A ship without a course is going nowhere.”

He explained, we all should have objectives and goals in life, wandering aimlessly will fetch nothing.
It is the time of arrival of the future leaders of this country.

When a student asked him a question that was spoken by him in his speech that “Where you are and where you want to be” How can we decide that? and “ How can you stay focused on one course when you have multiple courses? “

He answered brilliantly that, “Balance between two commitments is necessary to manage all at once.”
With this, his immensely action filled performance came to a closure.

Mr.Arun Virmani
Start thinking afresh!
With this his speech started, talking informally about his experiences at restaurants in Cp with friends, he went on to educate students that Thinking out of box is needed.
He shared that, Knowledge is increased when distributed.
It’s a privilege to born of rich parents but it is a greater privilege to born of Poor parents.

With this the second session was successfully closed followed by lunch break, after half an hour the session was restarted.

Third Session

Mr.M.G.GOPALAN
His interactive speech included many interactive sessions with younger generation.
He gave us the three things to achieve success in life:-
1. Hard work
2. Dedication and
3. Determination.
He quoted famous lines like, Action speaks louder than words.
Goodwill, Credibility and Reputation is the need of the hour.

He questioned, Why should we become an Entrepreneur?
And answered to this,“There is a man in you who can achieve”.
Money does not last long but knowledge does.
He advised us that we should respect our parents, organization, institution, country and everything which we are liable to.
Honesty and sincerity should be inherited from the elders and we should work on building our personalities.

The day ended with a better understanding of Business Management in Global Perspective
